Today we went to Fundacion Puertorriqueña Sindrome Down and delivered our donation of $130 on behalf of B1A4 Bana Puerto Rico.. The staff welcomed us and gave us a tour around the building. We talked about B1A4 and how they do their charity work and I'm sure they learned a few things today about Korean idols and their legacy. It is more than the music it is making other be conscious of those in need around us as well. We wanted to see the kids but they where out today doing a road trip. We manage to take some photos of the place.
They were really glad and said that they normally don't receive independent donations. That made me left me amazed and sad... but glad that we choose them for this project. I was glad we did this for them.. There is a lot to do. They give different types of speech and physical therapy. For the older kids they have art and cooking class.. It might seem like it doesn't make a change but it does. Kids from the age of 5 months to young adults need places like this to develop in a healthy and independent way when they get older and face daily life and look at it as a challenge not as something they can't do. To all those that participating buy buying the glow sticks at the concert, donating and helping out in many ways to make this happen Thank you again and again. So "Let's Be Happy!" If you are interested on donating or becoming a volunteer at Fundacion Puertorriqueña Sindrome Down you can call (787) 283-8210 or visit their site and contact them online for more information. They will gladly answer all your questions about volunteering or donating. Please read all the_ information on the project.
