Rapper San-E and B1A4′s member Jinyoung will hand over a song for trainees in Mnet’s survival program ‘Produce 101′. After the position battles take place, those who move on to the next step will be offered a battle song. In addition to San-E and Jinyoung, a total of five producers will give ‘Produce 101′ trainees their songs.
During the episode of ‘Produce 101′ that aired on the 26th, the battle for the vocalist positions have taken place. Votes will be counted after the rap and dance battles have also been done, and certain individuals will be dropped out. Trainees who make it to the next round will receive self-composed songs from individuals such as San-E and Jinyoung, and will carry out the next mission in five teams. San-E has demonstrated his skills as a producer through various shows including Mnet’s ‘Show Me The Money’ and ‘Unpretty Rapstar’. There is growing interest in how ‘Produce 101′ trainees will portray San-E’s hiphop style music. Jinyoung’s participation is also gathering attention. Among the five composers, Jinyoung is uniquely an idol member. He has also been gaining attention from the public through his past attendance at the ‘Produce 101′ battle setting. As he has continuously been solidifying his colours by self-composing, songwriting, and producing for B1A4, it is expected that he will once again demonstrate his capabilities as a musician through ‘Produce 101′. Furthermore, this is the first time Jinyoung is giving a self-composed song outside of his group. ‘Produce 101′ is a large-scale project show involving 101 female trainees from 46 companies. With the meaning of ‘to produce’ joined together with ‘101′ to represent an introduction, the show aims to create a unit girl group from the larger group of 101 trainees. Idol group B1A4′s member Sandeul revealed his first house (T/N: similar to a simple rent room/bachelor’s apartment based on the descriptions, but with an attic on the upper level). Sandeul appeared on JTBC’s Old House New House, where he requested an interior make-over for his house.
After six years of dorm life, the members of B1A4 have recently moved to independent living. Among the members, Sandeul’s house is two stories. However, the issue is the attic room on the second floor. Though he has nicely decorated the first floor, Sandeul’s attic room has been neglected without any special interior design. As stated by Sandeul, “recently my sister has been coming over quite often because of her work. Eventually I’ve given my sister my room. So without any other option I’ve been sleeping in the attic, but it’s hard to do anything to the attic by myself”, describing his reason for requesting a make-over. At the studio in the room portraying Sandeul’s attic, questions were raised at the sight of many dolls. Fellow B1A4 members Baro and Gongchan also expressed their curiosity as they stated, “we thought that Sandeul usually doesn’t like dolls.” In response Sandeul stated, “I get scared easily, and to be honest my attic really scares me. I placed my dolls there to welcome/comfort me.” Old House New House will be broadcast this coming 10th at 9:30pm.
