To support their group leader, Jin Young, the members of B1A4 made a surprise visit to the set of Mnet′s music drama Sing Again, Hera Gu. On December 24, CNU, Sandeul, Baro and Gongchan dropped in unexpectedly at the CJ E&M studio located in Ilsan. They visited to support Jin Young, who is currently filming for Sing Again, Hera Gu. For the cast and staff who are fighting against the cold, the members personally presented them with hot packs, expressing gratitude. They also sent a message of support to the staff with a delicately decorated cake. With B1A4′s surprise visit, both the cast and the staff were delighted, while Jin Young was touched by the surprise event by his younger members. Baro, who worked with some of the staff members in a previous project, was seen warmly exchanging hugs. After visiting the set, the B1A4 members stated, “It was our first time visiting a drama set. It was a really interesting and heart-fluttering experience. Jin Young was really cool as he focused on acting as soon as the ′cut′ sound was made. It was a very special experience and we believe Sing Again, Hera Gu will be a success. Everyone, fighting!” Sing Again, Hera Gu is a drama about the love and passion that a group of young people have towards music. This group, who have looks, personality and love as a reason for failure, take the challenge by auditioning for Superstar K2 as they connect and become one with music. The drama is scheduled to broadcast on January 9. © mwave 2014.11.07 17:51 Newsen Hwang Hye Jin Translation Credit : Grace Danbi Hong Ahead of the grand finale of its overseas tour 2014 B1A4 Road Trip to Seoul? Ready?, B1A4 shared some touching concert news. On November 7, B1A4’s agency stated, “Always stepping forward to create a special donation culture with fans through donation booths at every concert, B1A4 will be operating a donation booth for students in study rooms this year.” Instead of setting up large flower wreaths, the booth calls for donations of school supplies, fashion accessories, and food. The collected donation items will be sent to CJ Donors Camp and children’s welfare centers to be evenly spread out to help children and teens with their education. At B1A4’s concert in February, more than 1,500 fans participated. To show a more mature side at this upcoming concert, the B1A4 members are secretly preparing solo stages. WM Entertainment stated, “Not only will you see performance you don’t see regularly, but the goal of this concert is to showcase special stages that focus solely on music as well as the musical tastes of each member.” As the concert’s concept is ‘Road Trip,’ the concert stages will not just provide stages to focus on B1A4’s music, but will also help the members give plenty of fan service to the fans, who patiently waited for B1A4 to complete its tour abroad. An affiliate of the CJ E&M Concert Division, who is co-producing the concert, stated, “As it’s a finale performance in Seoul, we are newly preparing the concert in all aspects, including rearrangements, video footage, costumes, and more. There will also be songs that have never been sung at B1A4’s concerts before.” From November 10 to 16, a special 15 percent discount for students taking the Sooneung exam will be given, As the concert takes place two days after the Sooneung exam, the discount was put into place to help the students blow away their stress during the concert. B1A4 began its concert tour in August, traveling from Taiwan, China, Philippines, Japan, Australia, and the US. The finale in Seoul will take place on November 15 and 16 at the Jamsil Indoor Stadium. B1A4 Keeps Promise to Fans After Ranking No. 1 with “Solo Day,” Cosplays at Fansigning Event8/3/2014 B1A4 sure knows how to follow through with their promises! On July 31, the boys of B1A4 arrived at their fan signing event wearing the exact same clothes they wore in their music video teaser, much to the delight of their fans. Apparently, the boys of B1A4 promised their fans through the MBC Music show, “B1A4′s One Fine Day,” that they would wear the clothes they wore in the teaser for their “Solo Day” music video if they would win first place in a music broadcast, and on July 23, the group got their first win through the “Show Champion.” It was followed by another win on “M! Countdown” on July 24 and another win on “Music Bank” on July 25, making their condition thrice fulfilled. With the thought of repaying their fans’ love, B1A4 fulfilled their promise after they won the first place in various music broadcasts and came dressed up in the exact same clothes they wore in their music video. Each of the members assumed their characters in the music video– Jinyoung as the couch potato, Sandeul as the pizza delivery boy, CNU as the obsessive guy, Baro as the space geek, and Gongchan as the flowerboy vagabond–as they proceeded with their fan signing event, giving their fans an even more enjoyable time. Sandeul, who transformed into the timid pizza delivery boy, was exceptionally good at acting out his role as he was consistent in acting timid with his head down and losing his focus, making the fans wonder whether he was okay or not. The flowerboy vagabond Gongchan also showed dedication to his role as he suddenly stood up and did a shoulder dance while he was serenaded by a fan in hanbok. A fan who took pity on Gongchan who became a beggar gave him some spare change, making everyone laugh. Find out more about how B1A4 kept their promise to their fans in the upcoming episode of “B1A4′s One Fine Day” airing on August 4, 6 p.m. on MBC Music.
